Defenitely the most amazing time of my life.! I´m so vey happy here and couldn´t have asked for anything better! My host family are treating me as one of there own! We´ve already been to Enschede and Amsterdam. Next week they are taking me to Berlin!! The German´s are very nice and warm people. I love it here and won´t mind to come and stay in Germany one day javascript:SmilieEinfuegen(´😀´)Xx

Germany is lekker...

Germany is a very nice, my host family also Amazing and very friendly... It is different than SA but I like the way they do things.... I love it :)....

AMAZING!

The days went by so quickly! I can´t believe it is 10 days already. I am having so much fun with my family and my Hostsister can literally be my twin. German is beautiful and I´m inlove with the forest. My family took me in as one of their own. I can truly say my host family is the BEST =D xx

Die schönste Zeit!

So Germany has been really fun so far! I get along really well with my host sister and host family. I feel really grateful that I have such a welcoming family :) I´m having a really good time and my days are always busy- I haven´t had much time to miss home yet! We´re on school holiday now so we´ve been to Hannover a few times and to Bremen. Next week we´re going to Hamburg! I learn new things everyday and even attempt to speak some German now and then. My host family finds this very funny. I also love the food here but I´m afraid that I might have put on some kilos by the time I´m back home. I´m very happy to be in Germany and grateful for the opportunity :)

awesome time in deutchland

my host family has been(and still is) very friendly and helpful. I am having a great stay here in Germany. Germany is so much different to south Africa but I am adapting very well. I have made so many new memories and friends. at school they speak german which is hard to understand all the time but im learning the lingo fast. thank you to fsa youth exchange and my parents for giving me the opportunity for this experience.

The time I´ve spend so far in Germany is totally AWESOME😀 ... My host family is very friendly and very helpful as well. They also make sure I have everything I need and I like it here even if it rains a lot.😁 ...I´ve seen so much of Germany so far and still everyday is something new for me.😉 😀 😁

THE TIME OF MY LIFE!

I can not believe that 10 days of Germany have passed! Everyday is such a new experience and i learn so much from everything we do. I have made AMAZING friends- and they all do a lot of trouble to speak English around me, this i cant be more grateful for seeing i know about 6 German words- but getting better everyday!=D Everyday i feel more and more at home- even though the German culture is very much different to ours in South Africa. I laugh so much with my family (yes, my family) - we get along so well! My 2 sisters are probably the craziest people i know, Paula and Charly are the younger sisters i never had! With Paula doing the evening ´dance´ after too much caffeine and Charly trying to teach me German, the house-vibe is definitely full of laughter! i now know how to say "NEIN CHARLOTTE" - this i need to say very often, everyone laughs when i do though!

i am so privileged to have been put with this family, they do so much trouble with me here- and i appreciate all their efforts! Without them my trip to Germany would not be as amazing as it is! We have been strawberry picking, tree-hopping, Koln, Bonn, Dortmund, Munster i have eaten MANY traditional German dishes like curry-worst (i think thats how you spell it- hahaha).. We are going to the Netherlands on Saturday- i am really looking forward to this! I am still trying to figure out how i am going to say goodbye to this family- they have become very close to my heart and i will miss them terribly when i´m gone. But not to worry though- we have already spoken about visiting each other in the NEAR future!

Everyday i am grateful for this opportunity to be here! Thank you for the experience the FSA-team has given me! This i will NEVER forget.

All my love
Gaby

Germany is so cool :)

I cant even describe the fun im having right now...the people here are just awsome 😀,school is something i look forward to everyday i dont understand most of the stuff the teachers say but my fellow classmates just make not understanding anything so fun and my host family is the best😀 .....haha:) being here is like jumping out the window of a sky scraper and comfortably landing on a billion tons of marsh mellows :D😀

Ich liebe Deutschland

I don´t think there is words to describe of how much I am enjoying my time in Germany. They made me feel so welcome it feels like I never even left my own home. They go through many trouble to make sure I enjoy my stay. Obviously it feels like time is going by way too fast, but every moment I make a moment to remember. I felt comfortable with the family as well as the German way of living from the first day I got here. There is no words to describe of how happy I am with the family and how precious every day with them is. They give me wonderful education, oportunities, memories and lots of love. The thought of coming back is a bitter pill to swallow but I can´t wait to tell all the stories and thanking my parents again for allowing me to go on this amazing journey. I made lots of new friends, friends that I will remember for life. Everyday I look forward to having a good laugh with them again. 😀

Südafrika 2010 - Freundschaft bis heute

Hallo,
