I am living with my host family in Bissendorf close to Hannover and I am enjoying every moment! My host family and friends try their best to make me feel at home. Thank you for the great opportunity the FSA provides to visit Germany for three months. See you in January!
Dream come true!
This exchange program was always just one of my many dreams. I remember asking my parents if I could go on this exchange for the first time a year ago, they just laughed at me and said I would never be able to do it. Now the day has arrived, and I´m going to Germany. My wish has been granted! I can´t be more thankful that I get to have this amazing opportunity. And I´m just as excited for meeting my host family and being able to see a bit more of this beautiful world we live in. Dreams really do come true!!

I knew from the moment we met we will be friends for life!😀 Although I miss my family in SA they´ve took me in and made me feel so welcome !! In almost 48 hours we will be flying to Germany! The time has come and I can´t wait to meet my "new family", Petra and all the other students. So many arrangements and trouble went into this and I am deeply thankful and excited for this opportunity! I do hope all the other students will have a magnificent time! Make wonderful memories!😉

Bald geht es los - das Seminar bringt Südafrika näher
Schon im Vorfeld bekamen wir - nach Einverständnis aller Beteiligten - die Kontaktdaten einer Austauschschülerin hier aus der Nähe. Meine Tochter und sie reisten zusammen zum Seminar an, schon war man sich nicht mehr ganz so fremd. Das Seminar selber war offenbar sehr gut (als Mutter Ist man eher ein bisschen außen vor), plötzlich ist die Abreise nahe und sehr konkret, Pläne und Informationen mischen sich. Vielen Dank für die Möglichkeit, schon im Vorwege viel zu erfahren und andere Mitreisende kennenzulernen, Bald geht es los, wir werden berichten. Viele Grüße
