I cannot believe that these three months went by so quickly. It feels like only 2 weeks ago I arrived here full of excitement. I am so honoured to have been part of this amazing program. I will never forget my experience here. I am leaving with mixed emotions: I am sad to leave my wonderfull host family and new friends behind, but I am extremely excited to see my blood family again. Once again, thank you to every one who has made this possible.

HI. i will like to inform you that im doing fine and i really enjoyed my stay with my host Family and during Christmas me and my host sister we went to DRESDEN and i enjoyed my stay there we even went to the Cinderella CASTLE it is a really nice CASTLE People here their really cool most of all Meeting my host sister Frieds was great they got that cool vibe and i think some day i would want to visit the COUNTRY again😀 😀
Germany feels like a second home now
It isn´t often one can say that a foreign country creeps into your heart and makes you unhappy at the thought of leaving it, but that´s how I´ve come to feel about this incredible, awesome Northern country. Germany, once mysterious and far-off, has now been given a soul - given, by the wonderful family I´m living with, the friends I´ve made here, and the traditions and customs they celebrate in this quaint village - and, in the eyes of this observer, a soul I won´t ever forget!

After just a week I miss South Africa and the warm beaches and braaivleis 😻
But my family is soo nice and they welcome me into their family and it just warms my heart.
I already have a special place for each of them in my heart and I´ll never forget the amazing memories I´m making!!
I´m so happy and I think a month will be too short 😭

It is such a great experience to have Andrea here with us . We hope she enjoys her stay here , we think it´s a great oppurtunity to learn about another country and culture . We experienced a lot together and had a real nice time until now ! I´m sure we will keep in contact . Hopefully her parents and sister can come to visit here , too. They are always welcome in our family..

We love having Dario in our family. He just fits in like he´s a child of us! I am pretty sure he doesn´t like the weather here...but who does?!?! We have a great time and I hope he will remember us and the time here in Germany.
The exchange has been organized so perfectly and everthing is taken such good care of... We will definitely do it again!
An amazing experience
Germany is of course a completely different world to what most South Africans are used to. However, only in the best way possible. It is a beautiful country, and being an exchange student is an indescribable experience, so I encourage all who have the chance, to be part of the program. It´ll be worth it.

I´m having the time of my life in Germany! The people are very helpful and friendly and my host family is wonderful. I think 4 weeks here wouldn´t be enough. Thank you for all the support with the train tickets and everything else as well as finding me the perfect host family ❤
