Nun ist Bernard am Frankfurter Flughafen! Vielen Dank für die Chance einen Austauschschüler aufzunehmen und ein neues Familienmitglied zu bekommen. Wir hoffen, dass wir noch lange in Kontakt bleiben, es war eine fantastische und viel zu kurze Zeit. Wir alle werden Bernard sehr vermissen. 😫 😉

Thank you for this exchange program and all the effort you put into it. My son, Leopold Louw is with the Stellamanns family (Christina, Jorn, Thies and Floyd) in Bremen. He is so happy he doesn´t want to come home, so thank goodness for visums that expire, otherwise I would never see my son again! :) Hope you have a very blessed 2014

Jeder Tag in Deutschland ist ein frischer und froher Tag. Ich möchte nicht mehr verlangen!
Ich freue mich, wenn ich neue Leute treffe und neue Plätze besuche. Meine Deutsche Familie hilft mir immer und beantwortet alle meine Fragen. Die Schule hat viel spaß gemacht und es war sehr interessant, Unterricht in Deutschland zu bekommen!
Ich gehe morgen nach Berlin und feiere auch dort Sylvester.

Yesterday we went to the chrismasmarket: Lukas and his girlfriend Delia, Bjarne, Andrea, Henno. We ate some elkbratwurst and drink some hot fruitwein. We had a lot of fun together. You can see it on the photos we send.
I am very good and very happy with my family they are very good people to me. Thank you for putting me with them it is realy great and they make lot of fun and let me experience everything. Will come anny time to them again.

Ja, wir sind sehr glücklich mit Henno – ich weiß noch nicht, ob ich ihn im Januar wieder zurück gebe…
Er ist sehr hilfsbereit, aufgeschlossen und hat uns schon sehr viel über sein Leben in Südafrika berichtet. Inzwischen sagt Bjarne auch nicht mehr „Nein“ auf die Einladung von Henno, ihn rückzubesuchen, sondern “Vielleicht“.

My stay in Germany so far has been absolutely fabulous!! thank you so much for giving me the most amazing Family :)
I´ve enjoyed every single day so far!
the Family has taken me to a few towns around Witten aswell.
they´ve given me a variety of German meals and Snacks which i really enjoyed!
going to School with my sister, Jill, is such an enjoyment aswell <3 I´ve made some German friends here and already feel like part of the Family!!
i´ve also convinced my host Family and the grandparents to come visit South Africa! and they´ve already started making plans!
They´ve invited me to come with them on their next Holiday to Malta next year :D
they are such lovely People and i am so gratefull to have them as my host Family!!

Wie erleben hier wie im letzten Jahr auch eine wunderbare und ereigunsreiche zeit mit unserem Austauschschüler Deon. Die Jungs haben sich gesucht und gefunden... Deon ist mitlerweile ein Teil der Familie geworden.Er ist einfach nicht mehr wegzudenken. Gut das es bis zur Abreise noch lange hin ist :(

😀 Germany is so different compared to South Africa, but i enjoy the German way of life<3 i miss my home and my family, but not enough to go back!!! i am enjoying everything here and luckily it is not too cold where i am staying
