😀 😀 This place is simply awesome. The cities, the surroundings and the atmosphere is too good. It stopped snowing here in my side 😁 feels a little bit weird. The Host Fam has been awesome in every way possible, I´m just enjoyin this trip, but its not over yet...😉 😉

It´s so lovely here in Germany. Here in Varel, Obenstrohe; it is much colder than i am used too, but it´s part of the experience!! It has not snowed here yet, and even though it doesn´t, I am glad i saw snow in Frankfurt, FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER!! 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁.... Thank you for all you have done to make this trip better in each and every way!

I love GERMANY so much and yeah I have been here for only a week :) I am so looking forward to have a white Christmas Ich freue mich so :) 😁 My host fam is so nice they made me feel at home on the first day all ready thank you so much for placing me with them. Germany isnt that cold as what I excpcted it would be Alfeld is very nice and the people at school is so friendly :) 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁

Iam really doing great and I have settled well in my host family’s home. I have been going to school and it is a really great experiance and I have learned so much about Germans so far, even though I dont understand much at school i love going to school and meeting wonderful new people at school. Iam really loving this place and its people. My host family has welcomed me with such warm hands and they are so kind to me thats why I love being here. I really love the snow here and walking the dog as well, I love spending time with my host family because they make me feel so free. Iam happy where Iam right now I couldn’t have asked for more. Iam really happy with my host family.

Wir sind froh, uns seinerzeit als Gastfamilie beworben zu haben. Annique aus Südafrika ist ein sehr nettes Mädchen, sie passt prima in unsere Familie und wir haben schon eine Menge Spaß gemeinsam gehabt. Wir freuen uns auf das Ende des Schulalltags und den Beginn der Weihnachtsferien, denn dann haben wir viel mehr Möglichkeiten, ihr ein Stück unseres Landes zu zeigen. Ein herzliches DANKESCHÖN an Fr. My first week has been great! Met a lot of very nice people and my host family must be the friendliest there is!! School can sometimes be a bit long, but I just read a book or write letters, to my friends and family back in South Africa, during that time... I hope all of you are enjoying Germany as much as I am. I can´t wait to hear all the different stories when we all meet again at the airport...

Honestly this has been thee most EXCITING:D, BUSY and a bit of a boring experience I have never had & I have been all smiles since I´ve arrived here :D.
I´ve met quite a number of really nice & polite people but with the language difference some people tend to really rude which is really something I choose to brush off ;)!!
On the other note my Host Family is the most amazing, generous and delightful people to live with. I haven´t felt like I´m being excluded from them as they are very interested about South Africa and our traditions :D!!!
This is truly an exquisite and entertaining experience :D. Thank you very much and a big thanks to the FSA organization :)..
P.S
I kindly would like to request a 2 months gym card when I arrive in South Africa just to lose some of the calories I gained from eating chocolate, sweets, cookies and everything delicious :P Lol.
